Bio
Olivia Foster is an adjunct professorial lecturer of Film and Media Arts. She has been working in the field of video and film production for the past 18 years. As the Director of Production Management for Discovery Communications, Foster has worked on film and television projects for all of the key network brands.  She has experience with all genres of programming and all methods of capture and post production.  Her most recent projects include Discovering Ardi -- a long-form documentary for Discovery Channel that broke new ground in the understanding of the origin of man, Man on Wire -- the Oscar award winning feature documentary and Reign of the Dinosaurs -- a mini-series that takes photo-real CGI to a new level.  Foster has been teaching in the School of Communication at American University since 2000.  She has been a SOC Mentor and has sat on the SOC Mentorship Committee.
