Adjunct Associate Professor

Judith Tenney is an adjunct professor of Public Communication. She brings to AU classrooms varied experiences from both her career in the Federal service and her nearly 40 years of teaching in area universities. She completed her government service at NASA Headquarters where she oversaw the development of NASA’s strategic plan, annual performance plan, and annual performance reports to the President. Tenney served on Vice President Gore’s Communication Outreach Team and was Director of Training and Outplacement for the Peace Corps (domestic staff) before going to NASA. Her prior positions included service as Director of Employee Development and Training for NOAA. Tenney presents several courses to AU undergraduates, including Interpersonal Communication and Organizational Communication.
