Bio: Originally from Rwanda, Dr. Claudine Kuradusenge-McLeod is the Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Peace, Human Rights & Cultural Relations at the School of International Service, at American University. She is also a Human Rights activist and scholar specializing in genocide studies, and in the intersection of Diaspora consciousness and social mobilization. She is the author of Narratives of Victimhood and Perpetration: The Struggle of Bosnian and Rwandan Diaspora Communities in the United States as well as articles published in Genocide Studies and Prevention: An International Journal, the International Journal of Transitional Justice, and the International Studies Review. Dr. Kuradusenge-McLeod received her Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University.
