Robert Perciasepe, 2016 William K. Reilly Award Winner

One of the nation’s foremost figures in environmental policy, Robert Perciasepe, will be awarded the William. K. Reilly Award for Environmental Leadership at the 2016 Reilly Awards on March 31, 2016.

Mr. Perciasepe is the president of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), an independent nonprofit that works to advance strong climate policy. Prior to that, he served as Secretary of the Environment for the state of Maryland from 1990 to 1993, the Chief Operating Officer from 2004 to 2009, and as the Deputy Administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency from 2009 to 2014.

Among Mr. Perciasepe’s signature achievements at C2ES has been working with 14 companies with combined revenues of $1.1 trillion to sign a statement supporting the UN Conference on Climate Change (COP21).

Mr. Perciasepe’s also regularly writes about clean power initiatives, urban climate solutions, and the private sector’s role in mitigating climate change on the C2ES Climate Compass blog.
