Gabe Whitbread Adjunct Instructor Department of Justice, Law and Criminology

Bio
Dr. Whitbread is an adjunct instructor, teaching courses in the department of Government and the department of Justice, Law and Criminology. Her primary research interests are comparative punishment policy and political philosophy. She specializes in philosophical debate on the ethics of punishment. Dr. Whitbread also studies prison conditions and capital punishment, in particular, the experience of life on death row. Before starting her graduate studies, she worked with Legal Aid on prisoner's rights issues.
