Bio
Bandele McQueen is a seasoned government affairs consultant who has served in leadership roles on Capitol Hill and the public and private sectors for over twenty years. Operating at the intersection of state and federal policy, Mr. McQueen has assisted clients in a range of areas including energy, maritime, health care, and finance sectors. He develops and executes government affairs strategies at all levels of government.
Prior to joining Gray Global Advisors, Mr. McQueen was a senior advisor with McKenna Long & Aldridge where he represented fortune 500 companies to state, local, and foreign governments.
Mr. McQueen has a long career in public service. Most recently he served as Deputy Director of the DC office of the Mayor of Chicago. In this role he was responsible for all federal legislative activity for the City, including the City's annual Federal Legislative Agenda, outreach to Congress on behalf of the Mayor, and played a key role in city's bid for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Mr. McQueen also held several positions in the House of Representatives including serving as Chief of Staff to the late Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald, Chairwoman of the House Committee on House Administration, where he oversaw congressional staff, managed legislative staff and legislation. Mr. McQueen also worked for Majority Leader Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-MD).
