Bio
Milena Nikolova is a Research Associate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn, Germany and a Nonresident Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Milena received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland – College Park in 2014 and holds an MPP from American University and a BA in Economics from Gettysburg College. Her research focuses on subjective well-being, migration, civil society and nonprofits, and transition economies.
