Andy MacCracken, an SPA alum and a national advocate for college affordability, recently introduced President Obama ahead of remarks about executive actions that will support federal student loan borrowers.

MacCracken, SPA/BA’11 and MPA’14, co-founded the National Campus Leadership Council, an advocacy group focused on youth issues, including college affordability and access. The organization has brought together more than 600 current and former student body presidents. MacCracken, the former president of student government at American University, regularly consults organizations and institutions on youth policy and how to more effectively engage millennials in public discourse.
