Outstanding Service and Student Achievement Awards Recipients
This April, American University’s Office of Campus Life selected both of its awardees for the 2015 Outstanding Service Award as well as its awardees for the 10 Student Achievement Awards it gives out each year. Of these recipients, 4 students from the School of Public Affairs were selected to receive this honor. Patrick Kelly (Outstanding Service to the University Community), Chandler Thornton (Catheryn Seckler-Hudson Student Achievement Award), Chante Harris (Harold Johnson Student Achievement Award), and Cj Murphy (Stafford H. Cassell Student Achievement Award) were recognized for their service.
Each year, students, at the graduate or undergraduate level, are selected to receive the Outstanding Service Award or Student Achievements awards. Recipients are those individuals who provide unique contributions and strong dedicated service to the American University community through student government, public service, organizational leadership, or service through a combination of these categories.
These awards will be presented to the recipients during Commencement week in May.
