Megan O'Donnell Bell, Legislative Affairs Director, Boeing

Megan O'Donnell Bell is a well-respected and effective Capitol Hill expert with 15+ years of experience in the public and private sectors. She currently serves as the Director for Navy Authorizations within Boeing's Legislative Affairs division. She specializes in federal budget and appropriations policy, congressional procedures and political strategy with experience in both communications and fundraising. Before joining Boeing, Bell spent twelve years in the U.S. House of Representatives working for former House Appropriations Committee Chairman Harold 'Hal' Rogers (R-KY-5) in various capacities, culminating in a 5-year stint as his chief of staff. Prior to that, she worked for several years in Communications and Government Affairs for the Rural Broadband Association.

Bell earned a Law degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and English from Georgetown University, and plays on the Georgetown alumni softball team with her husband. She is a mother of two and an avid sports fan. As a proud DMV-native, Bell enjoys cheering for the Hoyas, Nationals and Capitals. 

Bell is an alumna of the WeLead Class of 2010 and spoke at the September 2020 training session.
