DC Internships We Support YOU Every Step of the Way

DC Internships: A group of 5 interns dressed professional at Capitol Hill

In the Washington Semester Program you see firsthand how policies are made or how organizations are run. You build a professional network while developing the skills employers seek. These skills and professional work habits build the confidence and motivation to launch your career after graduation.

Support Every Step of the Way

We work with you to develop a professional resume and cover letter to optimize your work, volunteer history, and academic achievements.

From an elevator pitch to practice questions to mock interviews and dress code, we provide group training and individual coaching.

Our Experiential Education Director helps students engage with hundreds of DC employers. Every semester WSP hosts an on-site internship fair and students have access to a database of over 3,000 active opportunities.

Through your internship course, career readiness training workshops, and advising, we prepare you for what to expect in the workplace and provide solutions to challenges you may face.
