Competition Team Results

THE TOP TEN NATIONALLY-RANKED Stephen S. Weinstein Advocacy Program at American University Washington College of Law prepares students for legal practice with exceptional advocacy skills. The program contributes to the success of the mock trial, moot court, alternative dispute resolution, transactional law, and independent competition teams.

The Advocacy Program is proud of our students and their efforts. Students have won 25 championships over the past 8 years, helping to solidify the Washington College of Law as one of the best advocacy programs in the country.

During the abridged 2019-20 competition year, WCL students continued to impress, with 25 competition teams advancing past the preliminary rounds of their competition. WCL students also excelled individually, bringing home 21 individual or team awards.
