Wireless Network

WCL provides 802.11 a/g/n/ac wireless connectivity to the Capital, Yuma, Warren and much of the surrounding area outdoors. Access to the "wcl" network is restricted to AU faculty, staff, students and registered visitors. Those who wish to log on to the wireless network will need to use their MyAU username and password. You may logon simultaneously with multiple devices, including laptops, phones, and tablets.

When using the wireless network you must comply with the Computer Use and Copyright Policy and the other Information Technology Security Policies.

Guest Access

Guest access is provided for visitors to the University. You may access the guest network by connecting to the "AUGuest-ByRCN" SSID. The guest network is not encrypted and does not allow access to AU and WCL only network resources, such as printing or file shares, so faculty, staff and students should not use it.

Problems with wireless software, device configuration, connectivity, or the wireless network should be directed to the Help Desk located in Warren NT10. The Help Desk can also be contacted by email at or by phone at 202-274-4021.
