Miguel Alvarenga is a Ph.D. Candidate and has a Master’s Degree from the Graduate Program on Public Policies, Strategies, and Development at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a thesis on ‘Data Mining, Big Data and Copyright in Brazil’. He is also a researcher at the Brazilian Copyright Institute and at the Research Network on Fundamental Rights, Private Relations, and Public Policy (NUREP).
