Dean Nelson '00 Receives Distinguished Alumni Award from Columbia Law

 

February 23, 2017 - Dean Camille Nelson, LL.M. graduate of Columbia Law School, was honored as the 2017 Distinguished Alumna at the prestigious Annual Paul Robeson Conference and Gala for her “excellent work as a scholar, practitioner, faculty member, and speaker, and [for her] outstanding service to the legal community.”

The Robeson Gala is Columbia Law School’s marquee annual event dedicated to celebrating and honoring the accomplishments of Columbia Law School’s most outstanding Black alumni. Dean Neslon was this year’s sole honoree. Roy L. Austin, Jr., a key advisor on urban affairs on the White House Domestic Policy Council, will be delivering the keynote speech at the gala.
