Student Activities

• Alicia Rodrigues serves as the Media Advisor for Student Activities at American University. In this role Alicia provides advising and administrative guidance to the student media organizations, the Student Government Student Union Board and SG campus communications team. She also oversees all of the marketing and branding efforts for the Student Activities office. Before starting as the Media Advisor in Student Activities, Alicia held the role of Scheduling Coordinator in University Event Scheduling at AU. She was also the Assistant for Marketing and Member Services in the Office of Recreational Sports at Virginia Commonwealth University (’06) while she completed her bachelor’s degree. Alicia has also worked in Television Broadcasting and has completed internships in the fields of advertising and marketing research. Alicia is originally from Newport News, Virginia.
