Bourama Badji

MA - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

Bourama Badji is a high school teacher from Senegal (West Africa) where he has taught English for over ten years (November 2004-June 2015). He studied English at Universite Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, Senegal and graduated with a Master in English and Literary Studies before being admitted at the national teachers’ training school where he received an EFL/ESL teaching certificate in 2003. He is currently a graduate Fulbright student at the American University in DC pursuing an MA in TESOL. He is very enthusiastic about the AU TESOL program and the study environment and hopes to be able to work in in-service teachers’ development back home.
Languages: French, English, Diola (mother tongue), Wolof, Mandinka (conversational) and Spanish (basic).
