Game Design (MA)
With a passion for analogue and digital visual communication, my work tries to challenge preconceived notions of advanced play and accessibility through engaging interface designs that can be understood at all gaming levels. By unpacking what players perceive and comprehend, we as an industry can create a much more engaging and fulfilling experience.
Coming from a Business and Japanese Studies background my personal work dances along the lines of how our social responsibilities affect our feelings in different ways.
I am currently working on a side scrolling old-school shoot-em-up pixel art game that helps facilitate fundamental progressive learning among middle school students learning about linear and co-linear mathematical function. Alongside that, I am also working on a tabletop deck building game that has been in development for nearly two years.
