Think Global Act Local

Easy to make international dishes, with personalized tales from AU community, that benefit the International Student Emergency Fund.

About the Cookbook

The Tales of Taste is a collection of nearly 100 easy family recipes from around the world. Each recipe was submitted either by an AU student, staff, faculty or alumni and is accomplished by a unique personal story that provides insight into the culture.

The recipes are tasty and diverse. Most are easy enough to make in a dorm room or home kitchen within minutes.

About the Fund

Every year, international students face unforeseen financial difficulties. They risk having to end their studies at AU because of tragedies such as the death of a parent outside the US, civil war, natural disaster, and steep devaluations of national currencies. International students' immigration status makes them ineligible for federal aid. In order to assist these students in need, ISSS has established an emergency fund for international students.
