Prior to joining American University's office of media relations, Paul worked for Washington trade associations and the White House Writers Group. From 2004 until late 2007, Paul served as a consultant for the Fundacion Centro de Estudios Americanos, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In Argentina, Paul also taught upper level university courses at Lincoln University College in addition to providing consulting services on U.S.-Latin America relations. Paul served as the assistant director of the Washington College of Law’s Comparative Law Program in Europe (London, Brussels, Paris and Geneva) where he interacted with international institutions such as the OECD, UNESCO, WTO, and the European Commission and Council among others in addition to preparing the course work for the nearly 60 law students who attended each summer’s intensive sessions. Paul is most proud of building lasting bridges of cooperation, communication, and understanding whether it is among Argentine civil society and various government officials concerning the United States or with the American University community he now serves.
