Building A Resilient Future: Infrastructure that Protects the Health of All Communities from Climate-Fueled Extreme Weather

Please join us for virtual event, which will cover the health impacts of extreme weather worsened by climate change, the disproportionate harm to low-income communities and communities of color, and the need for equitable, climate-resilient infrastructure, including challenges and success stories from local experts. Miami- Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will kick off the event with opening remarks, followed by a panel discussion featuring speakers who will discuss how leaders are implementing infrastructure solutions to combat extreme weather and inequity in their communities. There will be an opportunity for audience Q&A.

Co-hosted by the Center for Environmental Policy, American Lung Association and Center for Environmental Filmmaking.
