The Humanist Chaplaincy & the Secular Student Alliance at AU invite all interested students to come get acquainted with each other & the activities of the Chaplaincy & Alliance, which partner to create a welcoming & engaging community for AU humanists, secularists, nontheists, agnostics, & others questioning the faith traditions in which they grew up. We meet about two times each month to enjoy each other's companionship & to explore subjects relevant to our community - from human rights & naturalistic philosophy to personal topics such as coming out to our families of origin as nonreligious, nontraditional, LGBTQ+, etc. We also engage in community service & public policy advocacy, & will be working on getting students registered & ready to vote this fall!
