The Basics of Lean Six Sigma

Are you interested in program/ project management, data analytics to drive business decisions and how to create a better process within your company? Join us to learn more about lean six sigma principles and how it can impact your job and customer! Recognize the importance of process improvement and how using these principles can lead to a better workplace with a more efficient process! This session will be led by Rebecca Ackerman. Rebecca is currently a Senior Program Manager and Data Scientist at a large technology company. She graduated from American University with her second master’s in business analytics in June of this year. Rebecca received her first master’s at Johns Hopkins University in Public Administration with a certificate in Nonprofit Management. She went to undergrad at the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2016. Eager, ambitious, and goal-oriented, Rebecca has worked at two large enterprise organizations building their database, CRM system, leading strategy and process improvement. Rebecca is passionate about her professional and educational career and plans to expand her Lean Six Sigma degree in 2023.
