Building Your COIL Course (Part 2)
with Shed Siliman (Teaching & Learning Specialist, CTRL) & Luis Alvarado (Assistant Director, Learning Design Office of Digital Learning & Strategy)
Collaborative Online International Learning, or COIL, is a virtual exchange program in which two or more instructors from different countries pair their courses, allowing students from both countries to learn together online. Together with peers, CTRL facilitators, and ODLS instructional designers, participants will prepare a COIL experience for a particular course. These training sessions will guide instructors through integrating COIL into their course, addressing aspects such as modality, activities, and assessment methods.
This workshop consists of two sessions and will be most beneficial if you attend both. The first part will take place on July 19.
