To build a culture of excellence, engagement, and empowerment for men of color at American University, the Black Alumni Alliance proposes a return of the Black Male Empowerment Summit as the OASATAU Legacy Empowerment Summit. In an acknowledgement of the first multicultural student organization at American University, the OASATAU Legacy Summit strives to bring students, alumni, faculty & staff of color together for enriching discussion and community engagememt. The mission is to provide an uplifing and engaging summit program that allows students to gain insight and support for post graduate success as a proud BIPOC AU Alumni.
