Love Island USA is a popular dating show that was streamed on Peacock this summer, with its 7th season of the show. Having that in mind, there are underlying discussions to be had about the show, in regards to different dynamics that may occur between contestants on the show, issues of race, desirability, and relationships that formulate from the Love Island villa environment. For Brave Spaces, we would like to especially build community with fellow viewers of the show, with watching Youtube clips from the past season, while engaging in meaningful and impactful conversations in a “brave space”, in order to thoughtfully impact the minds of people to evaluate reality tv shows such as Love Island USA, through a complex and wider perspective.
