Join Dennis Ross and David Makovsky—co-authors of Be Strong and Of Good Courage: How Israel's Most Important Leaders Shaped its Destiny—for American University’s annual Amos Perlmutter Lecture. Ross and Makovsky will discuss Israel's defining generation of leaders, their character, and their judgments in the face of national peril. This annual lecture is in memory of School of Public Affairs (SPA) Professor Amos Perlmutter, who taught at the University for nearly thirty years, and was a world-renowned scholar of political leadership in the Middle East.


This lecture is co-hosted by the School of Public Affairs and Center for Israel Studies.
