- Daniel Ginsberg is a sociocultural linguist and semiotician specializing in the linguistic anthropology of education. His academic interests include higher education, discourse analysis, educational linguistics, and critical pedagogy. Outside of AU, Daniel is Manager of Education, Research and Professional Development at the American Anthropological Association, where he investigates anthropologists’ careers in academic, business, government, and nonprofit settings, as well as anthropology education at graduate, undergraduate, and pre-university levels.
