Bio
My primary research interests lie at the intersection of metaethics, social and political philosophy, and the philosophy of the cognitive and social sciences. My research focuses on the connection between systems biology and rationalist theories in ethics. I am currently working on a project that aims to use complex systems theory to develop and defend a scientifically well-grounded moral rationalism. I also work on a range of other issues related to social justice and climate justice. And I have a longstanding interest in the relationship between American pragmatism and Kant's philosophical project.
