Bio
Amy Savage is a biomedical scientist, with research interests in infectious diseases of humans and animals. Research projects have included hematozoa of island avifauna, developmental processes of trypanosomatid parasites in their insect vector, trypanosome transmission biology, and transmission blocking vaccine development. Savage is also interested in evidence based teaching, science and scientific literacy education, and the impact of related educational interventions on implicit science attitudes.
