Spring Valley Classroom 401

Updated 1/31/2023

The Center for Latin American & Latino Studies hosts the Annual Latino Public Affairs Forum, which convenes researchers, policymakers, and advocates in the Washington, DC community every year to discuss key issues impacting Latinos in the DC Metro. This year, the Forum will focus on ways that public and private organizations can support new Latino migrants who have arrived in the DC Metro area from the border states of Texas and Arizona. It will explore pathways through which stakeholders may effectively aid them with citizenship, health, housing, employment, and integration services and fill crucial gaps in assistance while they await resolution of their applications for documented status.
