Virtual Computing Lab
The Virtual Computer Lab (VCL) allows faculty and students to use software applications remotely without having to download software onto a personal computer. The benefit is the ability to run programs you may not have locally on a computer, from anywhere in the world, with 24/7 access. Such programs include STATA, SPSS, MS OFFICE.
VCL helps you access different software on a virtual desktop when you are not physically present on-campus. You can access VCL from virtually everywhere, provided you have internet connection.
Once you are logged in to the virtual desktop, you can access everything stored on the J: and G: drives.
