Darryl was former Chief Economist and Data Scientist at Equifax where he focused on the small business economy and the development of credit and risk models. He has presented on the state of the global and domestic economies and where Canadian and US small business markets are in relation to the overall economy. Darryl consulted with the Council of Economic Advisers and the Treasury Department providing insight into small business lending and small business market in low socio-economic areas.

Prior to Equifax, Darryl was a researcher focusing on the impact of education on economic growth by segmenting out Community College type education from the 4-year university push. He has published, presented, and been a keynote speaker on this topic. He was a professor of research methodology teaching courses on introduction to research methods, quantitative research, advanced quantitative analysis, and data presentation.
