Bio
Ana came to the United States in 1979 from El Salvador. She earned her bachelor's degree in computer science and business management in 1987 from AU. Started working part-time in AU's payroll office in 1988. In 1991, Ana started working for what was then UCC. That same year, she became an American citizen. Ana started training in Oracle when the university started converting from Sybase to Oracle. She now holds the Senior Oracle Database Administration position. Her responsibilities include monitoring, tuning, patching, installing, and upgrading AU's Oracle databases and Oracle application Servers.
