Bio
Alison’s career in international education began with the Fulbright Commission in London where she managed the US student and scholar program before becoming Program Director. She joined British Council USA, located within the British Embassy in Washington DC, and continued her work in cultural relations and exchanges. She built mutually beneficial relationships through collaborative research, leadership projects, and alumni programing. Alison has worked across multicultural environments throughout her career, incorporating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into program and recruitment strategies. In 2019 she accepted a Centennial Medal from the Institute of International Education to commemorate its long-standing partnership with the British Council. Alison is excited to work at the School of International Service and support its mission to “wage peace”.
