Bio
Bushra Asif joined the Office of Merit Awards in April 2022. In her role she provides programmatic and administrative support to a broad range of programs of the merit awards office. Bushra has previously worked as the Fulbright Program Advisor and at the Graduate College, University of Oklahoma. At OU she also taught courses on Women’s Rights in the Developing World and Women and Gender in South Asia. She is an ABD in Political Science from the University of Chicago and holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge where she was a British Council Chevening Scholar.
