Erin joined the Academic Support and Access Center in August of 2018. As the Assistive Technology Manager, she supports students, faculty and staff with the implementation and use of assistive technology to meet their academic needs. Erin also oversees captioning, alternative text, note-taking and interpreting services for students with disabilities. Erin is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist and RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional. Prior to joining AU, Erin worked as an assistive technology specialist and speech-language pathologist for Virginia Beach City Public Schools (2005-2018). Erin enjoys finding innovative ways to use technology to help students access their academic programming for optimal learning.
