Bio
Liz Kan is the Faculty Affairs Coordinator in the School of Communication. Some of her main duties include managing SOC faculty appointments, reappointments and promotions, as well as aiding in faculty recruitment and hiring.
Prior to her time at SOC, Liz was an active freelance musician in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Central Texas. She also taught music at the middle school, high school, and college level. When not at AU, Liz performs with orchestras in Maryland and Virginia. She currently resides in the DMV area with her husband, who serves in the U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own.”
