Leslie Rubin is a Doctoral Intern at the American University Counseling Center and a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at American University. Leslie previously trained at the AU counseling center as a practicum student and clinical extern and is excited to return. Additionally, Leslie has experience working in hospital, private practice, and community mental health settings. Her clinical style is integrative within a person-centered framework with a focus on psychodynamic and cognitive-behavior therapy. Leslie’s interests include college student mental health, mood and anxiety-related issues, adjustment, relationship concerns, health behaviors, and body-focused repetitive behaviors.
