Bio
Ms. Curby serves as the primary academic advisor for the Masters in International Relations (MAIR) and Master of International Service - Executive programs for both online & on campus students at the School of International Service. Prior to joining the advising staff, Ms. Curby’s career worked in clinical psychology, a psychology instructor, and research staff. She has worked as clinical assessment practitioner, a therapist, taught psychology courses for undergraduate students, and has training and managing experience through her work at the University of Virginia Early Steps Project, a multi-site preventative intervention project with low-income at-risk populations. In clinical work, she assisted students with learning and mental health challenges understand their unique strengths and weaknesses and advised clients on accommodations and resources.
