- Stephanie Schott is the Assistant Dean for Online Learning in the School of Professional and Extended Studies. Stephanie draws from her experience and education in psychology, instructional design & technology, and online program development to develop strategic online initiatives for the school. Stephanie collaborates with faculty to develop online courses using research based best practices in instructional design. She also shares her passion for educational psychology with faculty so that they can address the different needs and learning styles of students by incorporating technology into online instruction. Prior to joining American University, Stephanie worked with Saint Joseph’s University, Wilkes University, and the PA Department of Education to successfully launch multiple online programs.
