Andrea Mesa is the Administrative Coordinator at the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies.
She holds an M.A. in U.S. Foreign Policy and a Graduate Certificate in the Americas from the School of International Service at American University. She is particularly interested in U.S. foreign policy towards Colombia.
Andrea is a Colombian native who moved to the U.S. in 1997. In her free time she works with the immigrant community in the District of Columbia and is an advocate for the respect of human rights.
