David Weintraub has ten years of public accounting experience and is currently a senior tax manager in the Washington National Tax Accounting for Income Taxes group. Prior to joining Washington National Tax, David was part of the business tax services group in Deloitte’s McLean Virginia practice. During his time at Deloitte, David has provided a wide range of tax services to clients of varying sizes in the government contracting, professional services, commercial real estate mortgage originator/servicer, hedge fund and government sponsored entities sectors. David has extensive experience preparing and reviewing the application of accounting for income taxes, implementing process and technology improvements, preparing carve-out financial statements and assisting companies with life events (IPO’s, business combinations and dispositions, spin-offs, bankruptcy, etc..).
David received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at George Mason University and a Master in Taxation from American University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
