Bio
Hannah Debelius is the Sustainability Outreach and Communications Manager at American University working with students, staff, and faculty to build a culture of sustainability. Before working in sustainability in higher education, she spent four years at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in the Center for Green Schools and as an outdoor environmental educator with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Smith Island, Maryland. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Government and Environmental Studies with a concentration in Policy from the College of William and Mary and is actively working toward a M.S. in Sustainability Management at American University.
