Jelena Kmezic is a PhD candidate in Economics and an Adjunct Instructor at the Economics Department. Jelena worked at AU's Center for Teaching, Research, and Learning from 2012-2014 as Academic Technology Applications Trainer where she provided High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster support for faculty and student users.
Jelena is working in agent-based modeling with applications to wealth inequality and to HIV epidemiology. Her research interests include health economics, econometrics, and monetary policy.
