Originally from Mexico City, I was born to and raised by Chinese immigrants, making me a first-generation Chinese-Mexican. I came to the United States in 2009 in need of a more flexible and diverse cultural and academic environment, where I discovered my passion for philosophy. After five years in DC, I received my BA/MA in Philosophy from American University. Given my background, I'm interested in questions of identity, particularly in the creative task involved in the integration of conflicting identities.
