Bio
Dr. Erich Vogt is a professorial lecturer and independent environment and development policy advisor and consultant. He has provided consulting advice to a wide range of development and environmental policy initiatives to governments in both developed and developing countries, international organizations, bilateral and multilateral agencies such as the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank Group), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUDN), and NGOs (OXFAM, ACTIONAID). Prior to this, Dr. Vogt was a Team leader at the World Bank’s External Relations Department; Managing Editor of the World Bank’s Development Gateway Portal; and Head of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation’s international development office in Geneva, Switzerland. He was a professional journalism fellow at Stanford University – and a member of the German National Swim Team.
