Bio
With more than 16 years in health communications, Erica Neufeld is Vice President of Communications at CureSearch for Children’s Cancer where she is responsible for strategic, multi-faceted communications programs including constituent communications, media relations and reputation management. 

Before CureSearch, Neufeld was Director of Communications for Cardiac Vascular and Thoracic Surgery Associates in Falls Church, VA, where she created the communications function and held business development responsibilities. 

Prior to CVTSA, Neufeld was Sr. Marketing Manager at Inova Fairfax Hospital, responsible for consumer and physician strategies which included public relations for the opening of the region’s first cardiac hospital and crisis communications such as September 11 and anthrax attacks. 

Neufeld has also worked in public relations at the American Heart Association and March of Dimes.

Neufeld’s work has earned awards including the Healthcare Provider Standard of Excellence Award from the Web Marketing Association and the Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America.
