Bio
Jube Shiver, Jr. teaches Writing for Communication. Previously, he was a Los Angeles Times correspondent and covered the federal government and the landmark Microsoft Corp. antitrust trial. During his journalism career, Shiver also worked at USA Today, The Washington Post and Washington Star. He has appeared on NPR, BBC, C-SPAN, CNBC and PBS. He has reported from a half dozen countries, including Cuba, Brazil, Japan and Belgium. Shiver has a law degree from the Antioch School of Law, a master's degree in international journalism from the University of Southern California and an undergraduate journalism degree from Syracuse University. In addition to teaching, he is president of the property management firm, Shiver Management Group.
