However, this module aims to explore the non-traditional aspects of leadership, and how leaders from diverse backgrounds contribute to our global history through unexpected means. Our contemporary understandings of leadership significantly shape the social and political world around us. Therefore, throughout this discussion, we will be exploring the ways that authority, power, age, and social perception continue to influence contemporary leaders, and the societies they lead.
